Baby Boomer Life Makeover With Core Health

October 28th, 2009

So you think that you need a Baby Boomer Life Makeover?  I think most of us would like to experience a makeover in one area or another of our lives.  Boomers especially are possibly experiencing the delayed mid life crisis since mid life has moved to the 5o’s and 60′s.

I can’t speak for you, however, I have noticed that here in Florida there are a lot more Boomers out walking everyday, riding bikes, golfing, swimming, dancing, and in general being much more active all the  time. We aren’t talking hobbies here.  This is focused intention with purpose and passion.

Most likely we can all agree that it is a good thing to be more active and to eat more raw foods and healthier quality foods.  That isn’t really news for most of us.  It just makes good sense.

What IS news, is that one of the fastest ways to experience a life revitalizing makeover is via a refreshing, restorative, and slate cleaning method of letting go of all the useless baggage most of us carry on our shoulders for years and years.  The baggage is heavy, tiring, aging, and yes, totally USELESS!

Core Health and Heart Forgiveness , both target releasing the baggage as quickly as throwing it off the deck of your latest cruise ship.  The results are measurable and instantaneous in most cases.

I liked my experience with Core Health and Heart Forgiveness so much that I am now- at almost 60- taking the facilitator training with the Founder of Core Health, Dr. Ed Carlson.  Yes, we are both Boomers!  I am so very impressed and excited about all that has occurred that I am truly gleeful over the results.

I have truly had some amazing experiences since I began working with Dr. Ed in June of 2009 clearing my own issues and freeing myself of years of useless crap and false beliefs.  What a RELIEF!

The technique is based on years of research following such notable scientists and doctors as Dr. Bruce Lipton, author of Biology of Belief; Dr. David R. Hawkins, author of such notable books as Power vs Force and Truth vs Falsehood, and many more.

Dr. John Diamond’s work with energy measuring also fueled Dr. Ed’s fire to create the Core Health energy measuring system. If you have ever heard of muscle testing, a kinesiology technique, then you know what energy measuring is and how accurate it is. Your body doesn’t lie. What Dr. Ed created is also known as Comprehensive Kinesiology.  Dr. Ed’s book has just been released and you can get it on his site below if you are interested.

If you are  into being as healthy as possible, as happy as possible and living as long a life as possible under these conditions; then by all means contact me at http://essentiallyenergy.com .  UPDATE! I have been facilitating Core Health and Heart Forgiveness Workshops for two years now and love it! Find more info and dates, videos, etc., at http://essentiallyenergy.com and I will look for you there.

You won’t be disappointed.  I can’t legally guarantee it but I sure wish I could!

Thanks for stopping by!

Baby Boomer Life – Notes for Boomers and Internet Marketers

August 25th, 2008

0
Baby Boomer Life is a blog for Boomers by a Boomer who is passionate about really living full out every day to the best of my ability. I and my husband make every day as full of fun, creativity, and physical activity as we can and we challenge ourselves each day. We are part of a growing number of Boomers who are working online instead of going to the office or job.

We have written together for a few years now and learned most of what we know about the internet and marketing online together. The result of our efforts to date is our blogs, our books, our audio/video programs, and all the work that goes into learning as much as we can as fast as we can in an online world that never stops changing-not for a moment.

Man! Up to now, it has been challenging and will continue to be so every moment of every day-I’m sure of it! Often we appear to be lost online for hours! And I am still behind on the Thirty Day Challenge! (This is how I also got to know lots of internet marketers of all ages.)

One thing we have found that is never changing in the Boomer world is the need for physical activity, good-preferably organic, fresh, whole food, and of course pure, clean, H2o. Michael and I are so fussy about our water that we literally carry our own with us, and are adamant about not drinking chlorinated, fluoridated water. We walk, we hike, we take it seriously and do it together. We recommend that you do too.

Here’s a little video from me on Youtube.

[kml_flashembed movie="http://www.youtube.com/v/h7xBaQnsJaQ" width="425" height="350" wmode="transparent" /]

Please take note Boomers of the two W’s. WALKING and WATER

Especially if you sit a lot and work online; you need to get out and get physical as much as possible in the fresh air and sunshine for at least an hour a day. The internet will never change that and in fact, it has made for a lot of nerdy out of shape GenX’ers who never were very active to begin with. They’ve been online for most of their adult lives now. I say that with love because those GenX’ers have changed the face of the internet and taught us so much. I am so full of gratitude with regard to all they have done AND I am feeling like I should be out rousing them to get up and go hiking, bike riding, rafting, and walking. They live online and need to get much more food and fitness conscious. So here’s the bottom line.

We all need to take proactive responsibility for our health. As Michael and I always tell all our contacts of all ages-the first element of wealth is HEALTH! What good is a gigantic pile of money if you aren’t healthy enough to enjoy spending it??

So I am on a mission. A mission to get Boomers and Internet Marketers up and out and doing something physical that makes them feel great. There is a lot more about all of this on our joint site at Healthy Wealthy Boomer.com and also other video tips on Youtube. I intend to keep them coming Boomers because I want all my friends around to enjoy this life with me through the many years ahead. I consider it my sworn duty to bring this message home!

HoneyBoomers at Baby Boomer Life

How many HoneyBoomers like to travel? I do! I do!

And what the heck is a “HoneyBoomer?” You know. It’s an endlessly honeymooning Boomer couple that loves to travel and has the cash, time, and freedom to do so. I love it!

Over on my Boomer Travel Deals and Dream Destinations site, I have got a growing number of great places to travel for both pure pleasure and for honeymoons and even for great exotic weddings or vow renewals.

Boomers love to travel and we want fitness, great-maybe even organic- food, massages, yoga, dancing, languages, luxury weight loss resorts aka SPAS. We are really into relaxation and spoiling ourselves but not until we have hiked, aerobicized, danced, swam, rafted, biked, sailed, golfed, fenced, and (whew!) and yoga’d ourselves into exhaustion! Isn’t that great?

I am so proud to be a Boomer!

Michael and I have been on a real extra strategic Healthy Wealthy Boomer regimen for the last month as we have been trying out Michael’s “Thirty Days To Change Your Life-Quick Start Manual” to see how it feels to be the Healthy Wealthy Boomer protege’s. We are having fun with this and you will too! And you will get healthier, stronger, more energetic; and even better-clean from the inside out! Plus you will get some home based business tips and a mental and emotional intelligence performance review with lots of help on how to make it all better starting today. It’s the plan for making the second fifty years better than the first.

You’ll see. It’s a good thing to do for about a month before you take that fabulous HoneyBoomer vacation to exotic locations around the world. Got your passport?

Go Baby! Go Daddy! It’s your Baby Boomer Life!

My Baby Boomer Life Best Home Business

July 23rd, 2008

Hey Baby Boomers! Am I happy?? You bet I am!

In recent months I wasn’t too active on my blogs due to a concentration of energy on my new home based business which is bringing me a great deal of money and satisfaction and personal growth.

Now it’s not like I wasn’t in to personal growth for years and years already. Those of you who have read my blogs for the last year, know that I am a seminar junkie and a personal growth advocate of the highest order. My favorite word is what??? GRATITUDE.

Yep, GRATITUDE. And what has that brought me? Well I tell you, it has brought me proof that what you think about does indeed magnify and come flying right to you if you are consistent in your mental thoughts and emotions and you are following the BE-DO-HAVE model of living. I’m a money magnet!

Don’t laugh. That has actually worked really well for me! And in addition, a desire to serve, help change lives, and be a leader in the personal development field has brought me all that in a great package that is my dream home business come true. If I sound happy, in fact vibrant, it’s because I am!

Here is the link to one of my sites with my friends in The Amazing Business

This link is going to change someone’s life today. Maybe yours? I would love to pour you a cup of the joy I am feeling since I started this business. I feel like I found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and an entire field of four leaf clovers. Yippeeee! After years in all kind of sales, sales management, mortgages, real estate, hospitality, magazine publishing, and even MLM’s, blah, blah, blah! I got it! I am having the time of my life! I get to work from home and make money-I mean lots of money! I get to work from where ever I am and travel with my laptop and cell phone. NO Worries! Just in time to start the second fifty years of my healthy wealthy boomer life! Don’t be shy now. Take a look at what I am doing because you can do this too.

Remember when The Secret first came out back in 2006? That is when I began to look in earnest for a home based business that met all my criteria. I have been through a lot since then. WE have been through a lot since then! I will save my story for another time and place but Michael and I have been the most aggressive of entrepreneurs in our search for our dream life. We just aren’t passive people. We have been downsized, disappointed, burned, cheated-you name it. But we remained amazingly optimistic and determined. Even though people said “what you seek does not exist-get a job”, we never gave up (for more than an hour or two) and now we can look back and laugh. God Bless America and every other country where freedom and opportunity rings.

I hope this helps even one of you to manifest your dream life.
To your health and wealth and peace of mind from BABY BOOMER LIFE. Have a blessed day.

Alexandra

These are some of the teachers who taught me the most and without whom I would still be checking my email on AOL and calling myself a techie! How hysterical is that?? ROTFLMAO :-) )

Our 16 session class with Sam Clark and Jack Humphrey has been kicking butt and then again, the Thirty Day Challenge Part 4Ever is still challenging me to grow new dendrites everyday! More brain food please!

Attitudes of Gratitude at Baby Boomer Life

March 6th, 2008

Quote:
“The greatest discovery of any generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitude.” – William James

You can listen to the mp3 version of this post here:

Attitudes of Gratitude – mp3

That folks, is where attitudes of gratitude comes into play for all of us boomer’s. Well for everyone really and of course, but I think boomer’s may be especially vulnerable because it is a telling time of life. It is a time of transition and planning for the second half of life. (Yes, I am planning on another fifty years! Aren’t you?)

Have we met our goals? Are our dreams being manifested? Have our children taken the paths we hoped they would? Are we feeling well and energetic? Are we financially free?

Ouch! What, you might ask, do any of those questions have to do with attitudes of gratitude?
Well, in my opinion, the answer is everything. Everything, everything, everything.

This is a time when you must really take the old check up from the neck up. It is so easy to get down on yourself, on life, on the family, your job, your dreams, and your finances. Will that get you where you want to go?

Not if attention animates, not if thoughts are things and you create what you think about whether you like it or not, and not if my state of mind produces a vibration which in turn becomes an energy field which then attracts matching energy fields like a magnet! Do you see where I am going with this?

Right here and right now you need to stop and get yourself together and take control of your thoughts, your feelings, your expectations, and all your auto responses to life. What are you creating? Is gratitude, a smile and a laugh at the jokes life plays at our expense your natural reaction? Or, is it possible that you have slipped into victimizing thoughts, responses , and reactions?

Believe me, I know how easy that is to do. When life trips you up and nothing goes as you planned, and all your hard work seems to have come to naught-take heart! The only one who can turn it around is you, and each of us. We are not beaten unless we say we are.

Recently, I came to the renewed awareness that no matter what I am doing, the Source for all that I receive in this world is the One Source of All That Is. Call it what you may: The GREAT I AM, GOD, ALL THAT IS. What I am saying here is this; if you work really hard on something or with someone and it doesn’t pan out, for heaven’s sake, don’t give up! You may not see the fruits of your labor from that particular thing and you may get disappointed but pick yourself up, brush yourself off, and get right back in the game! You may alter your direction, implement some fine tuning, but keep putting the energy out there as long as you are passionate about it and feeling good about where you are headed. The rewards will come. They may come from somewhere you never expected but they will come. It has to happen. You can’t fail if you don’t quit. An adjustment may be called for but don’t give up.

Think of it like this; you are headed to Montana from Phoenix. The place you want to end up is definitely Montana. If you stop midway or even worse-an hour from the border, and turn around and head east, are you ever going to get to Montana? And why not?
Don’t we do that in life all the time?
Isn’t it time we got it right?

Wake up each day and start yourself off right with an “attitude of gratitude”.

My boomer friends, use your words and the power of putting yourself in alignment with the highest power of the universe to create your new day each and every day. Begin recreating a history today of the kind of thoughts, plans, and beliefs that can only lead to a sense of renewal and joy. Just start!

In a week the old history will feel like just that- “history”. A new pattern will have begun and a new energy will surround you. In a month your life will reveal a pattern of change as you build momentum, energy, and joy that grows in power with each passing day.

Today really is the first day of the rest of your Baby Boomer Life and don’t you forget that. It really is important and we really do become what we think about. That is a law of the universe that is undeniably true. If you have any doubt about the power and truth of these words and thoughts, I invite you to test it. Document it in your own life.

Now this is a Boomer Tip and you may want to share it with someone else in your life whether they are a boomer or not.

Keep an Attitude Journal for a month and write in it every day.
Alter the way you react to the small stuff and the big stuff. Remember not to sweat it! You are in control of your thoughts and reactions, even if you have gotten into some bad habits. Today is the day to take back your power. Everyday is the day to take back your power. It all starts in your mind and in your thoughts.

All of us; writers, doctors, teachers, lawyers, internet marketers, retailers, car salespeople, restaurant managers, entrepreneurs, parents and grandparents, and everyone of us whoever we may be and whatever we may do- we are all vulnerable to the disease of destructive thinking. It is the worst disease there could ever be or has ever been.

Let’s get that negative thinking bull by the horns and throw him down and hog tie him and never let him get control of our lives again.

Boomer Mind Power! We’ve got it!

Where Did Fred Thompson’s Voters Go and I Am Mad As Hell….Baby Boomer Life-r.

January 31st, 2008

Where did Fred Thompson’s voters go and yes, I am, I am mad as hell!

I Am Mad As Hell And I Am Not Going To Take This Anymore! Where did all the wondrous possibilities for Republican presidential candidates drop off to? What is going on with my party?

I feel seriously cheated and angry and disappointed-where is Mike Huckabee, where is Rudy Guiliani, where is Fred Thompson? This happened all too quickly and quietly for my taste.

I am mad. I am really mad. I am an angry Republican who feels like we just got “screwed”-pardon my English!

Here is how I feel right now; there is no difference that I can see between the Democrats and the Republicans if McCain is our best representation of the Republican party for president. There is nothing wrong with McCain, he is a good man no doubt since I don’t know him personally, BUT his ACTIONS show me that he isn’t a REPUBLICAN except in party registration and backing.

I am talking values and party line. Where do he and Obama differ-REALLY? They are both Liberals.

I think differences are good. I think political parties should represent different viewpoints and perspectives NOT just a different set of pockets!

President Reagan became my model.
Honestly, I am no political pundit but I am a voter and have never missed an election since 1968. It has taken a lifetime for me to develop a valid, educated opinion about my party and what it stands for in the American way of life. When I was a young adult, experientially still a child, I voted like a child. Now I am an adult who takes my voter rights and responsibilities seriously. I learned from President Reagan what a really good president is.

I don’t vote for candidates by their label; I vote for what they stand for and what I was taught that the Republican Party stands for. Even Mike Huckabee and Rudy Guiliani are a bit less conservative than I prefer but their values are values that I believe in. I think their softness on Republican ideals cost them the nomination and we have been spoon-fed McCain because the opposing party and media intends that a lot of conservative Republicans will simply get ticked off and not vote for anyone rather than someone they don’t really support. Opps-the Democrats then win by default and it looks like a landslide.
COME ON PEOPLE!

Get Serious Now
So to Republican Boomer’s I say this. It is time to gather strength and get solidly behind Mitt Romney because I see a serious case of divide and conquer going on here and we (Republicans) have every reason to be on high alert.

If your brain isn’t saying “warning, warning, warning!” you better reduce your medication and WAKE UP or this is going to be over before you know it. The McCain-Feingold Bill is just the beginning of the story of disaster for Conservative Republicans and life as we know it.

Looking back I would say that there has been a concerted effort to keep Republicans so focussed on the Obama-Hilary race that there has been nothing but confusion in the Republican Party. Are you with me??

Thoughts and focus create events and results. Energy goes where attention flows. Can you see it? Are you getting this?

It is time for all Republicans who are serious voters and not just opinion mongers to gather together and get united behind one candidate.

For my vote that candidate is now Mitt Romney for President. Sorry Mr. Huckabee. Better luck next time.

The party and values of President Abraham Lincoln, the first Republican President, is good enough for me.
Thanks from Baby Boomer Life.

Please note; I don’t normally write about my personal political opinions so please humor me if you will boomer’s. If you are so inclined, please comment and I will either print the comment or not depending on how you say what you say.

Should Baby Boomer Life Get Serious About Health?

January 30th, 2008

0
Should Baby Boomer Life get serious about health? Is anyone paying attention boomer’s? I hope so. I really do because you are not going to believe what I just found out. I am not even going to attempt to describe it to you so meet Dr. Suzanne.

Recently, I met Dr. Suzanne Gudakunst online and this lady doc is serious- dead serious- about saving lives and giving people back their health. LOOK RIGHT NOW>>>>>>>>>>

After listening to Dr. Suzanne I got to thinking about some of my earlier posts in the Fall of 2007 and how passionate I was about getting people motivated to take a lot better care of themselves for their own sake and the sake of those that love them. Check out my health posts in the October 2007 archives, but first…………

There is a link to the right of the screen where you can meet Dr. Suzanne and see some things you really need to know about and the sooner the better.

You can be absolutely sure that I am urging you to educate yourself AND AT THE SAME TIME
finally get the chance to drop the weight and awful low energy, bloated, dragged out feelings of exhaustion and illness that you have been suffering from. Wake up Boomer’s-this is for real!

End the diet wheel now and get the truth-the awful truth. Then take action first for yourself and then for those you love. You have to be the truth in action and show everyone you care about what can be done and then, no matter how resistant they were, they will listen and follow your lead. Be the one who gets this done.

Also, be sure to take before and after pictures and document the effects in your life and health and then write to us and share your stories. This is very important boomer’s and I really want to see how you do with it so don’t forget about me when you start getting results. We want to hear.

Do it right now-please-go and meet Dr. Suzanne and listen to what she has to show you. It isn’t pretty but you really need to know this. I have spoken about the necessity of internal cleansing but this is beyond anything I have ever seen.

The truth is that with Dr. Suzanne’s help you can be feeling like a new person and better than you have in the last twenty years and you can accomplish it in only weeks or a couple of months and you can be the amazing truth that will shock your friends and family.

You don’t have to trust me, find out for yourself when you listen to what she has to say.

My dear boomer friends, Baby Boomer Life is taking this health crisis very seriously and we are already on the case ourselves to see what the results will be and we will let you know as soon as possible.

Boomers and Bikers at Baby Boomer Life

January 21st, 2008

Boomer’s and Bikers and hell on wheels Harley’s?
Maybe not anymore…..Boomer Biker Christians on Harley’s…yeah…that’s it.

The irony of Boomer’s and Biker’s and Christians is what I was really thinking about.
Recently while spending time with two of my favorite friends, Frank and Linda, who just happen to be bikers-his and hers Harley’s to die for!-we got to talking about their biker friends and his prison ministry and how most bikers today are proactive Christians who are more inclined to do rides for the Make a Wish Foundation or to raise money for the families of inmates or to buy bibles for people doing time and their families.

Right now their mission is that they are trying to find ways to get TBN-Trinity Broadcasting Network- into the prisons as an alternate cable station instead of the one cable station permitted now which tends to be a music station that is rap and videos. Apparently they are only permitted one cable station and the inmates vote and choose. Naturally they choose music if they only get one. However, if there were two and the other was TBN they would watch it a great deal of the time because most of the inmates are starving for spiritual life and desperately want to learn the teachings of the Bible. They want to be saved. They want to know Christ as their Lord and Savior.

In some cases they know what they want and need and in some cases they don’t yet know what it is, they just know that it is something and that the hole inside is very large and very empty. They need a reason to care about right and wrong and to think they matter. It is that simple. It is also fixable. Kind of scary though in a country where it is politically incorrect to mix government and God anymore. The need here is too great to ignore and from what my biker friends tell me, they are the ones reaching out to find ways to fill the need. Hallelujah for them. I mean that too. Hallelujah!!

While writing this post I came across a link at TBN Second Chance that made me realize just how important an issue this has become and that of course being the serious ministry that it is TBN has already put a huge effort into the Second Chance programming and what that might mean to the future of the people in the prison system. Faith based programming would reach literally thousands of inmates living in what amounts to the pits of despair and defeat with what seems like a totally hopeless and endless road ahead.

How can this be anything but the most important of important issues when so many lives are affected? Think about the hundreds of thousands of inmates, spouses, children, other family members, corrections officers (and their families too), wardens and other staff that are affected by the plight of the correctional institutions as they currently exist. The repercussions of not having a Second Chance are as dire as can be for a huge number of people and family’s. Only those whose family members are affected everyday can possibly understand that this is a monumentally crucial need.

My biker friends are looking for help and support. Their biker friends are doing all they can to support them in their work. I believe you can make a difference. You may be the one to come up with an idea that finally breaks through on how to effect serious change in the system. It all starts with supporting the TBN effort.

Baby Boomer Life would also like to help by spreading the word and raising consciousness on this subject. What else can we do? Let us know with a comment or two and tell us what you are doing. It matters.

Thank you and good luck. This project is in the hands of the Lord already but many hands make light work so lets join together and heal this problem. Can I get an AMEN?

It’s Gonna Be Great In 2008-Baby Boomer Life Style

January 8th, 2008

Hello Baby Boomer Life readers and welcome to 2008! According to my pastor it is going to be a grrrrreat year and I tell you, Tony the Tiger could not have said it with more emphasis. I sure hope he is right. Don’t you?

Something I read somewhere about odd years being less successful than even years, or was it that 2007 is a “nine” year (2+7=9) and nines are endings and completions so 2008 is supposed to be a “one” year and that is new beginnings and the excitement of starting fresh in a bigger and better way than on just any old new year. All of this is called numerology and the science of numbers and their values as indicators of a given years’ possible outcomes is pretty fascinating to say the least-at least to me. And there many other things I saw and read throughout 2007 that I won’t go into but what matters most is that it is indeed 2008. We are launched. On that note…..

I saw a new blog today entitled Healthy Wealthy Boomer and I really thought it looked interesting because it linked me to… (full story Great in 2008)
