Baby Boomer Life has the honor of introducing Jimmy Smith, aka Jimmy the butcher, to our readers. Jimmy Smith is an amazing man. I met Jimmy at the same meeting where I met Tony O’Donnell, the Miracle Super Foods author, earlier this month. Though separate speakers they shared the stage for a while as we learned about the anti aging power of antioxidants from them.

Jimmy Smith is an unforgettable and unstoppable health and wealth producing machine!
When Jimmy walks in the room you can feel the energy and the love. He gets more pleasure out of helping people transform their lives than almost anyone I have ever met and he does it by simply being himself and sharing his story. It’s a great story, by the way.

At a feisty 79 years old Jimmy is my own father’s age, but I have to say he is vibrantly healthy and energetic in the way that men half his age are. If you met Jimmy you would never guess his age except that he is so up front and open about it. Apparently he was not always this way.

After spending forty years as a neighborhood butcher, standing on his feet all day, lifting heavy sections of meat for cutting, etc., Jimmy had to retire early due to health issues. It was a blow to the hardworking family man. Not too surprising, eh?
He owned a modest home, cars, and lived the lifestyle of a lower middle class wage earner and had a large family and grandchildren. One might have thought Jimmy’s life was in a pattern that was destined to continue until his demise but that was not the case. Jimmy wanted more for himself and his family and began his own law of attraction program as he wondered what he could do to start creating something more interesting for himself and his large family.

One day a friend called him and got him interested in network marketing and Jimmy got involved with the company that was going to change his life. It was to affect his involvement in the world and especially his income.

Eventually, after trying a couple of direct sales companies, Jimmy found his niche and soon a company by the name of Isagenix was proudly giving 76 year old Jimmy Smith the President’s Award and not too long after that Jimmy became the top income earner in the company as he used the Isagenix products to improve his own wellness, stamina and knowledge of how to take better care of himself through nutritional cleansing. He dropped excess weight, started needing less sleep and found a new mental clarity that improved his memory as well. The more excited Jimmy got with the results, the more passionate he became in his communications and his mission to share with others grew to what is it today.

Jimmy Smith is a modern day hero because he not only changed his own life dramatically, but has given his children the legacy of direct sales marketing and they too are in the top 20 income earners at Isagenix. Jimmy’s entire family has learned a great deal about health and wealth from their incredible, take action, senior role model. According to Jimmy Smith Isagenix direct sales formula is “democracy in it’s finest form.” Not only did he teach his 6 children but he is teaching his 28 grandchildren!

The day I met Jimmy Smith, the room was filled with mostly family couples and singles who understand the hip new power of direct marketing (or network marketing as we called it), but there were a surprising number of baby boomer’s too who were all there to learn how to grow their business from the wisdom and experience of their senior member.

This man walks the walk and talks the talk. After earning $400 a week for most of his life, Jimmy now has everything he ever wanted and is able to give his family the life he always dreamed about. Maybe that wouldn’t be such a big deal on it’s own but Jimmy also gives freely of his energy,time, knowledge and kindness to everyone he meets. He travels the country speaking and teaching and sharing at his own expense because he wants to make a difference. That too, is his legacy. Jimmy Smith, the retired butcher turned millionaire, is a man of spiritual depth and generosity and I am proud to have met him.
